Larry is a moron. Those sites cost way too much for most people. You just don't need to spend hundreds of dollars on a website these days. There are many places for low cost. Vistaprint now does them for 15 bucks a month so that is a lot less and they have good options.

All the comments above seem to be focusing on the cost of a website... What about the other side of that... How much can a website grow your business and make you money! If you had a website that continually brought in new clients, got your existing clients back into your salon more often, how much would you pay for that? What if your website generated sales in excess of $50,000 per year... would you argue about that if it cost you $10,000 to build it? Here's how one salon owner uses his website to make massive sales in just one week... http://http://tinyurl.com/dzg2b3

Anyone looking for a web site SPECIFICALLY for the beauty industry should try our FREE site.

I'm one of the creators of this site, www.StylistOne.com, and we are looking for people to use if for FREE and give us feedback on how to improve it.

With StylistOne.com you can:
a) have your own page to send clients to (pick your page URL)
b) take appointments through that page
c) personalize your profile with pictures, rates, services (make your own or use our list)
d) keep your client cards online and add/edit anytime
e) keep track of your earnings and print reports
f) use your MOBILE PHONE to edit your account and change settings where ever you are

We have training videos to help you get up and running quickly.

Right now, since we are just starting out, and trying to understand YOUR INDUSTRY better, there are NO ADVERTISEMENTS.

Give it a whirl: www.StylistOne.com

Spending this kind of money on a website is dumb. Money is definitely a factor. $10,000 you are insane

What you need is a good looking salon website that gets you top 5 google ranking. Looked at Zooms examples and all of those are top 1 or 2. Looked at Stylist and they are very obtuse about what they even offer. Looked at uvgrafx and none of those pages ranked in google first pages. spabom is NOT free it is more expensive than zoom and shows no real world examples.

I don't like places that are unclear. I had my website built by a design guy and I will never go it unknown again. Why is it that nobody ever shows real sites when they promote how great they are?
