Did anyone notice on the Tyra show when they showed how to glue in the weave, the weft was glued to the hair instead of the scalp?  Tyra's stylist mentioned that gluing the extension to the hair will result in hair loss.

Are stylist taught to glue to the hair instead of scalp? I've seen stylist glue directly to the hair and not the scalp.

Positives

Why not just get some nails done instead?  Far less painful and less costly too.  A weave does have a certain look, but it's pretty easy to tell, and if they mess it up then you are going to spend a long time growing your hair back to the way it was.

Does anyone know if bonding glue causes allergies to the scalp.  I had a quick weave that ended up taking my hair out at the scalp permenently.  I experienced severe itching and burning symtoms.
